About us

It's January 18, 2026. 

 

I started this website because I believe that the vast majority of Americans agree on what makes this country great. I want to connect these people somehow, perhaps here, or perhaps by linking to other organizations with a similar purpose. 

 

What you will never find here are requests for money. And we will not abide any inflamatory commentary. We're here for the thoughtful discussion about what makes this country great and how we can preserve and nurture it. 

 

I don't expect us to agree. In fact I hope we don't. Frank discussions without animosity are the building blocks of a united society. I hope we can all learn to speak the truth and listen without anger.

What I Believe

The founding fathers created an excellent system. Not perfect by any means, nothing is perfect, and after 250 years, some people have found and exploited some loopholes. I believe that up until about 1960, things were going pretty well. And then a series of events occured which eroded our faith in the people running our country. And once that faith was gone, the system began to unravel. I think it's time we plugged those loopholes.

 

There was a time when politicians could disagree on many things and yet still agree on others and work together for the benefit of everyone. That spirit of cooperation, the sense that when you lift one person up, you lift us all up, is gone. Politics has become more about making sure the other side doesn't get what they want instead of focusing on what your constituents and the country as a whole needs. 

 

I believe the phrase "We the People" is one of the most powerful statements in all of politics. We the people need to become the focus of all political discourse and action. 

 

I believe in a more perfect union. I believe this union can still be improved. 

 

I do not believe anyone is always right. But you cannot learn if you do not listen. And you cannot compromise or even cooperate unless you really understand the other side's point of view.
